Managed Security
A clear look at how the business is actually protected, then the work to close the gaps. This is for offices that do not have a security team on staff.

01
Review
What you have today. Accounts, email, backups, the firewall, and who can get in from outside.
02
Test
A vulnerability scan, and when you want it, a penetration test that tries the doors the way an attacker would. The scope is agreed before anyone starts.
03
After the report
Findings in the order they matter. What to fix first, what can wait, and a later check that it stayed fixed.
What a security engagement covers
- Security audit of the current setup
- Vulnerability assessment of the systems and applications in scope
- Penetration testing, quoted as its own project
- Account protection, including multi-factor authentication
- A backup review that asks whether a restore actually works
- Firewall and remote-access review
- HIPAA planning for clinics and other regulated offices
- PCI-DSS guidance for restaurants and other businesses that take cards
- One-time work, or ongoing advice after the first review
How it starts
- 1
Email what you want looked at, and whether this is a review, a test, or help with a requirement such as HIPAA.
- 2
We agree on the scope in writing. A review and a penetration test are different engagements, and we describe that difference before the work begins.
- 3
The work is remote unless a device or a location has to be touched. On-site work covers Southern California.
- 4
You get a short list of what is exposed and what we recommend, written so an owner can read it.
For clinics, HIPAA planning is part of a broader security engagement when the office needs it. It sits with the rest of the review, rather than standing in for it. We respect our clients' privacy and do not publish their names.
